A purple heart is given to a soldier who is hurt or wounded while in battle. We believe everyone is a soldier fighting in this world just to live in peace. The purple heart is a symbol of courage, to show that we can recover from the past, and live on to a better life.

Draw a purple heart on your left hand (right in between your wrist and thumb) hand as a symbol that you care about the victims of all these things, whether it be you, someone you know, or even just people in general.
